Radio promotions ensure that your product/service becomes part of what listeners love to hear; capitalising on the special relationship that listeners have with their local presenters. |

Making up our Urban offering, we have seven stations with individual identities and sounds, targeted at the relevant urban area, leading to higher listening hours and solus listenership

PRIZE
Minimum Prize Requirements: See S&P costs document for relevant station information The prizes must reach the monetary value however they are also subject to approval by programming in each station to ensure that they don’t duplicate recent or upcoming prizes and also that they fulfill a perceived desirability level. The programming team in each station is happy to suggest prizes if the client wishes them to do so. |  |
MECHANIC
We ask all clients to fill out a Sponsorship and Promotions brief which contains all of the information necessary to discuss a promotion. This brief is taken to a weekly promotions meeting in each station where a programming team looks at any suggested mechanics and either approves them or suggests a workable alternative.
The programming team will also come up with mechanics from scratch if necessary. Each station assesses mechanics individually – some mechanics work very well in some stations but may not work in others – we rely on the individual knowledge of stations for the best advice on mechanics. |  |
Final mechanics will be supplied in each case for approval by your client
PACKAGES
We are more than happy to create promotions working with you and your client for either individual stations, groups of more than two and even the group as a whole.
Special placement fees are in place for group bookings and are available on request
SHOW
In each case, we will recommend a show suitable for each promotion based on style of mechanic, target audience etc.
CLIENT CREDIT
Your client will receive a minimum level of three live presenter mentions per promotion daypart per day across the promotional period.
Pre promos are available at an extra rate to the promotion – please enquire for details.
The credit mentions must comply with BCI codes and therefore can consist of:
- Client/Product Name
- A single, generic product or service reference
- Address or Website Address
- A telephone number
- A short, generic tagline being used for all brand activity at the time.
